A new event is in the works — called BookArt Bazaar, where the goal is to create an occasion for book and music enthusiasts, and those who like games to share what they have by renting a table at the St-Bernardin Community Centre on Saturday, March 7 in order to sell surplus items.

Used books, cartoons, CDs, DVDs, vinyl, board games and electronic games — all are fair “game” at this event. You can rent a table for just $30 and keep the proceeds of your sale or donate to a charity of your choice.

Organizer Julie Leroux says that if you have items you would like to donate, you can do that, too.

Leroux is at work coordinating local authors to attend the event; they can sell their books at the event and there will be some workshops, too.

If you want to get in on the fun and reserve a table to clear out some books so you can buy more, contact Leroux by calling 613-678-6471 or email: [email protected].

Note: The Review will be there, and will present a question-and-answer workshop about self-publishing, how to organize your manuscript to get it published, and other book-publishing considerations.
