The new year brings some changes to the opening hours at the Champlain Library in Vankleek Hill. In response to patron feedback, the library will now be open six more hours by adding an extra hour on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and by opening on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. This new schedule will provide patrons more opportunities to borrow from the collection of books, magazines, DVDs, music CDs and benefit from computer usage and program activities. The new opening hours are as follows: Monday and Wednesday from 1 pm to 6 pm and from 7 pm to 8 pm ; Tuesday and Thursday 10 am to 6 pm and from 7 pm to 8 pm ; Friday 1 pm to 6 pm and Saturday 10 am to 1 pm.
