$8,000 for 5 Cyclone Royal Canadian Air Cadets

The Township of Russell donated $8,099.36 to the 5 Cyclone Royal Canadian Air Cadets at the end of 2019, thanks to proceeds from the Local Flavours Rendez-Vous, organized by the municipality’s economic development department. An additional $1,000 was donated by the Royal Bank of Canada, bringing the total to $9,099 donated to the group.

The Local Flavours Rendez-Vous took place on October 26, 2019 at the Embrun Community Centre, featuring 21 booths, where vendors could introduce their products to the more than 400 attendees.

The 5 Cyclone non-profit organization develops good citizenship and leadership attributes in youth, promotes physical fitness and stimulates interest in the aviation industry and the air activities of the Canadian Air Forces.
