It has been a fantastic beginning for the Hawkesbury Selects Midget Girls Basketball team. The team captured the gold medal in the first two tournaments of the season; the Warm Up Tournament in Montreal and the Tournoi des Phenix in Gatineau. Solid defense, explosive offense and experienced coaching has led the Selects to eight consecutive wins. The team is comprised of girls ages 13 to 15 yrs attending VCI, ESCRH, and Le Sommet. They will try to maintain their streak in Sherbrooke next weekend!
