Community-minded: Sharing the joy of dancing

The Glengarry Tartans – Easy Modern Square Dance Club – Alexandria were delighted to share their Joy of Dancing with the staff and residents of Maxville Manor on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

The club is a member of the Eastern Ontario Square and Round Dance Association, the Seaway Valley Square and Round Dance Association as well as Border Boosters Square and Round Dance Association.  These not-for-profit associations are community-focused and  showcase square dancing at retirement facilities as well as organizing many fundraising events for local food banks and charitable organizations.

The Glengarry Tartans’ weekly Sunday dance promotes Fun, Fitness and Friendship in the community through a low cost activity.

The group thanks Dina Murray-MacDonald, Activity Director Maxville Manor for the invitation.

Dina stated: “It was a wonderful demo for our residents and they truly loved the opportunity.  I hope you will be able join us again in the near future”.
