Dunvegan will come alive December 7 and 8 with the sounds and spirit of Christmas past.

In partnership with the Dunvegan Recreation Association organizers of the Magical Christmas event we would like you to join them away from the hustle and bustle of the season — for a fun time in Dunvegan.

Follow the signs to the museum from Highway 34 and or Highway 417 and accompany everyone on a trip back to 1812 at the Dunvegan Recreation Hall. Vendors will be selling unique handcrafted items that are based on days gone by, but are such amazing gifts for today. See everything from jewelry to candles, fresh greens, natural wreaths and more.

Take a horse and buggy ride from the hall to the museum grounds. Grab a hot chocolate, warm up around the fire, take family photos on the decorated porches. Look inside the main lodge and you will find more unique crafters waiting to welcome you, not to mention the museum gift shop that is full of fun and unique items for people on your list who may be hard to buy for .

Glengarry Tree Farm will be on site to sell you one of their beautiful trees, plus there will be more fresh greens, pots and swags, and decorations for your entire home as well as for gifts.

Hours are 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday. Entry to the museum is by donation, plus you can enter to win door prizes by purchasing a ticket, with all proceeds to benefit the Dunvegan Recreation Association. Come and  enjoy a truly magical weekend for the whole family.
