La Branche Culturelle presents L’enlèvement de Max, a puppet show starring Moustique, Max the dog, an owl, a unicorn, and a punkosaure on November 10 2019.

This presentation was made possible thanks to a grant from the Quebec Ministry of Culture and Communications. This project, created with the help and collaboration of the students from the Bouchard, Saint-Philippe, and Laurentien Elementary School. From just a suggestion as their starting point, the students are the ones behind the story-line, the characters, and the background. François Jobin, is behind the script. Local artists worked together to create the puppets and the background and decorations based on the students draft drawings. A total of 18 people contributed to this project, with the students from all three elementary schools.

The show was previewed in the three schools to give parents a taste of what their children worked and it has been met with great success. La Branche Culturelle is now inviting the public to enjoy it for themselves on November 10 at 2 p.m. at the Saint-Louise-De-France church in Brownsburg-Chatham at 354 Main Street, Brownsburg-Chatham. Donations are welcome.
