An 87-year-old Cornwall man died as the result of a collision on County Road 20 on October 26, 2019.
On October 26, 2019 Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers attended the scene of a two-vehicle collision on County Road 20 in North Glengarry Township.
Preliminary investigation has indicated that at approximately 12:53 p.m., a minivan was travelling northbound on County Road 20 when, for reasons under investigation, collided with a southbound pick-up truck.
The driver of the minivan, Robert MONKS (age 87) of Cornwall, Ontario was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The adult driver (lone occupant) of the pick-up truck received no injuries.
SD&G OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
