Author Bruce Foster has written a new book in collaboration with illustrator Joshua Stewart.

The children’s book has a Christmas theme and is bilingual. Foster uses his experiences as an elementary school principal to come up with his stories. He has written other books on bus safety, bullying, and MS.

Bruce Foster says the book is produced completely in Canada.

Joshua Stewart illustrated the book. He has been drawing for a while and is currently studying fine arts at Concordia University.

Part of the profits from the book will go to the Canada Kids Help Phone, which is open 24/7. It is a charitable organization which offers professional counseling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people in both English and French.

Both Foster and Stewart will be at the Vankleek Hill Christmas Craft Fair at the Vankleek Hill Community Centre on Saturday November 23 from 12 to 2 p.m. Books will be on sale throughout the weekend at the event. For more information or to purchase a book go to www.mrkool.ca
