Pay your fines with food at the Champlain Library

Throughout the month of October, the Champlain Library will be running a “Food for Fines” campaign.  This annual food drive will help fill the shelves at the local food banks.  The library will accept payment for late fees in the form of NEW canned and dry food items.  Food will be applied to library late fees only, 1 food item = $1.00.  This activity is one of the many that the Champlain Library is running during Ontario Library Month.

Ontario Public Library Week will run from October 21 to October 26 and the library will be offering many reasons to celebrate.  Join us on Monday, October 21 for our Customer Appreciation Day from 1 pm to 4 pm.  We encourage our patrons to come out for refreshments and meet our staff and library board members.

For more information about upcoming library programs, special events and services at the Champlain Library, call 613-678-2216, follow us on Instagram, find us on Facebook or visit us at www.bc-cl.ca.
