Canada Day festivities on June 30 in Glen Robertson

This year, Canada Day festivities in Glen Robertson are taking place on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from noon to 1 a.m. There will be a dignitary present at a flag-raising ceremony taking place at 12 noon.

Air bounce games for kids, a giant hamster ball, family games, arts, crafts, vendors and historical photos are all part of the day. Note that meals are available, and there will be a Canada Day Tart contest. To enter, contact Janet Cardinal at 1-613-874-2824.

The day will include a square dance demonstration, continuous music, a beer garden and chip truck and a Zumba demonstration with Bupha.

Music will be provided by Roger Hamelin and Borderline from noon until midnight.

Everyone is welcome and admission is free! Note that there is also a $1,000 draw happening. You can buy draw tickets at the event. Fireworks will take place at 10 p.m.
