Alexandria celebrates Canada Day on July 1, 2019

A full day of music and activities take place in Alexandria on July 1, but note that on Sunday, June 30, the Eazy Cruisers Car Show takes place at Island Park, with registration of cars happening from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. You can stop by to see the cars in the afternoon. Awards will be presented at 3 p.m. and there will be entertainment provided by the classic rock group 50 Proof from Vankleek Hill.

But now, back to July 1, 2019, when bounce inflatables, Meet the Keepers, Face painting, mini putt golf, Nerf wars, a balloonist, pony rides, a dunk tank and much more will be happening at Island Park. Be sure to take in the parade, which kicks off at 12 noon.

Music at Island park will include the MacLeod Fiddlers, Our Time, Country Roots, Fridge Full of Empties, Yvon Leroux and AM/FM.

There will also be bingo, a beer garden, games of chance and a $1,000 draw.
