Young readers in Lachute can go on an adventure this summer.
The Club des Aventuriers reading club is back at the Bibliothèque Jean-Marc Belzile for ages six to 12 with free activities running from June 25 to August 15.
The idea behind the club is to help young readers keep up their skills over the summer when school is out and to keep amused while doing it.
This year’s club includes games, draws, and other special activities throughout the summer months. Special exhibits and games are set up at the library.
Children can register during the Bibliothèque Jean-Marc Belzile’s opening hours at the front desk until July 20. Children must be six years of age when they register and have a library card.
Library use is free for residents of Lachute, Gore, and Wentworth. Non-residents are required to pay $100 per year for adults, and groups of children aged 0 to 17 cost $25 per year.
