To The Editor,
I’m just now reading my Review of April 24, 2019 and I’m scanning the front page story, “Student becomes MP for a day”. 338 young women (no males permitted to even apply), one from each federal riding, brought to Ottawa for a day. The federal contribution alone was $3,500,000. Does it really cost $10,355.03 to do this ??!! Just what is the justification for this outrageous sum of money? In this same edition, there is a story of a group of VCI students leaving for Europe. I can assure you that it was nowhere near $10,355 for each student to go on an extended tour of Europe. Think about this, please.
