On the weekends of April 27th, 28th and 29th and May 4th, 5th and 6th, nearly 120 performers, taught by area music teachers, will take part in the 29th annual non-competitive Vankleek Hill Music Festival. All of these concerts take place at Knox Presbyterian Church in Vankleek Hill.  In addition to these seven concerts, new this year will be the Three-Schools Concert taking place on Thursday, May 10th. Ensembles from Pleasant Corners Public School (PCPS) , St. Jude Catholic Elementary School and Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute (VCI) will present an evening concert at St. Jude Catholic School. As well as performing on their own, ensembles from the schools will join together for several pieces.

Montreal Guitar Trio on Monday, April 30th: The Vankleek Hill Music Festival is pleased to host and support a concert featuring the internationally renown Montreal Guitar Trio – for students attending Pleasant Corners Public School, St. Jude Catholic Elementary School and Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute. This day-time concert will take place at Pleasant Corners Public School.
‘Music Thursday‘ event on Thursday, May 3: The Vankleek Hill Music Festival will host ‘Music Thursday‘. Taking place at Pleasant Corners Public School, a day-long series of rehearsals and music workshops will bring together music students from PCPS, St. Jude, VCI and Ecole St-Gregoire. Musicians from our community will assist with workshops.
The members of the Vankleek Hill Music Festival are pleased to host and encourage these musical events which bring together students from three school boards and two languages. The Music Festival organization also organizes an annual two-week summer music and arts camp experience each year and provides scholarships and additional musical opportunities for local students.
