Recognize this building? Apparently, Lachute’s La Lorraine was recently sold to business owner Patrick Morin, of Patrick Morin: Home Improvement, Home Renovation, Tools & More. Lachute Mayor Carl Péloquin stated that for now, the plan is to demolish the hotel and bowling alley in order to build a new home for Morin’s hardware store, currently located on Lachute’s Main Street. This would double the size of the store. For now, no details on the sale price were available.
