Lachute’s Code Rouge Pub offers a cure for the Monday blues

Monday, March 12, 2018, marked the second edition of “Lundis stand-up au pub Code Rouge”, a comedy-club-style event held in Lachute.

The event is organized by Nicolas Bévillard and features francophone stand-up comics tied together by an MC, a role given to Vankleek Hill’s own Max Richard.

The second edition entertained its crowd with a great line-up: Mig Lafontaine, Bruno Ly and Pascal Cameron.

“I hope I’ll be organizing this event for years to come,” said an enthusiastic Bévillard.

“For now, we’re booked until this summer.”

The third edition will be on April 16, 2018 and the fourth on May 14, 2018. The shows start at 8 p.m. and the admission fee is $10.

While you are here, we have a small ask.

More people are reading The Review than ever before — across our many platforms. So far, we have not put up a paywall to limit the stories you can read. We want to keep you in the news loop. But advertising revenues are increasingly going to the big two: you know who they are. If you value The Review’s independent, local community journalism, or you value the many ways we support dozens of community organizations in their endeavours, consider supporting our work. It takes time, effort and professional smarts to stay on top of community news and present well-researched, objective news articles on issues which matter to you.
