The Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame pays tribute to those who have contributed to musical culture in Glengarry. This photograph shows massed fiddlers at work.
The 2018 inductees for The Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame have been chosen from about 40 nominees reviewed by the executive of the organization.
Dance teacher Ellen Cameron Maloney and fiddler Gerry O’Neill will be inducted into the Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame. The late Duncan Alexander Macdonell, promoter and Gaelic singer Duncan Donald MacSweyn will also be inducted.
An induction dinner celebration will be held on Friday, May 25 at the Bonnie Glen Pavilion. Family and friends are invited to come and celebrate with the honourees. Details regarding tickets will be released later.
