Muriel Lalonde will be the new Executive Director of Maison Interlude House, beginning on January 1, 2018.

With 15 years of experience in the health field, and nearly ten years experience in management positions for psychosocial and human resources, Muriel Lalonde is a veteran leader who knows how to bring teams together and steer them towards a common goal.

Muriel holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from Quebec’s École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP), and is a strategic leader who believes in steady professional development. She is well-known to Interlude House, having worked alongside the organization in various capacities for over two years, as well as to the community, where she has held an array of positions and businesses, while also being involved with various boards.

Thanks to her active listening, her integrity and her planning capacity, Muriel ensures the success of the projects she takes on by placing humans and humanity at the heart of each initiative. She is therefore anticipating her next big challenge as Executive Director of Interlude House with her trademark cheerfulness and drive, convinced that she can take the organization to heretofore unforeseen heights.

Maison Interlude House is a Francophone organization offering a range of services, in French and in English, in Prescott, Russell, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry to help support women, their children and youth, in building a future without violence.
