Yves St-Denis, Member of the National Assembly for Argenteuil, announced on October 6 that the Café Partage d’Argenteuil will receive a financial assistance of $ 13,286, which will be used mainly to continue the weekly collective kitchens and the convenience of the mobile grocery store.
Currently, Le Café Partage serves the municipalities of Gore, Lachute, Harrington, Brownsburg-Chatham and Grenville-sur-la-Rouge. More than 300 people use their services and they distribute an average of 80 health baskets every two weeks. Established since September 2010, Café Partage has more than 50 volunteers and has four employees.
