“What’s your favourite part of Bible School?”

“Snacks!” “Stories!” “Umm… making pictures?” “Singing songs!” “I like comin’ to church with my granny.”

The Archie Hardy Hall of Knox Church was bubbling with energetic kids last week as the Knox Vacation Bible School took place for the 38th time. This summer the school had more than 60 children and 30 staff, and the place was a riot of activities.

From 9:30 am to 12 pm each day, the kids gathered at Archie Hardy Hall for games, crafts, science experiments, and Bible stories. The theme this year was “Galactic Starveyor,” giving a stars-and-planets edge to every activity.

In addition to its educational goals, the Vacation Bible School group supports Mission Projects each summer. On Friday, $1,100 was donated to the Red Cross in its efforts to support those who were affected by the 2017 spring flooding.
