Harassment in Alexandria
On January 28, police were called to a “disturbance” on Lochiel Street in Alexandria. Police allege a man had harassed two women “over a period of time.” The 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal harassment, and will appear in court in Alexandria on March 8.
Impaired driving arrest
On January 28, police were called to the scene of a car accident on Main Street in Alexandria. Police say a pick-up truck had collided with an unattended parked car, and then driven away. They say the truck was found shortly afterwards, and the male driver was arrested. The 41-year-old from North Glengarry was charged with impaired driving and failing to remain at the scene of the accident under the Highway Traffic Act.
