The St-Bernardin winter carnival is coming up on Saturday, February 4. Indoor activities will be held at the Caledonia Community Centre (6900 County Road 22). That includes musical entertainment from Roger Hamelin and his musicians, as well as cards and board games, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Admission is $15 which includes a spaghetti supper, which will be served beginning at 5 p.m. and will include prizes for the best homemade desserts. A magic show for kids will begin at 6:30 p.m., and a draw for a down-south vacation will be held at 8 p.m. The evening will wrap up with a dance beginning at 8:30 p.m. Outdoor activities will be on between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Parking will be available at the community centre, as well as a free shuttle. Outdoor activities include horse-drawn sleigh rides, sliding, hot chocolate and a camp fire. The skating rink will also be open in the day and evening, with free skating and friendly hockey games. The festival is organized jointly by the St-Bernardin Historical and Cultural Society, Club d’activités familiales and St-Bernardin Firefighters. For more information, call  613-678-6235.
