Stevens, Leona Hazel

Stevens, Leona Hazel, formerly from Hawkesbury ON, at the age of 93 years, died peacefully on October 6 th 2023 at the Osgoode Care Centre near Metcalfe ON. with her loving son, and devoted Care Centre staff at her side. Beloved wife to the late George Crawford Stevens and loving sons the late Jeffrey Gordon (France) and Darwin George (the late Sue). Leona was born in Hawkesbury July 14th, 1930 as a twin to sister Euolene Barnes. Also predeceased to sister Theda Masterman and brothers Myles J. and Sturgess Albright. Sadly, missed by her many nieces and nephews and a proud Godmother to Ernie Higginson and the late Stephen Higginson. Leona was an active member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Lady’s Guild, Kitchen Team and Sunday school teacher. Inurnment on Saturday October 19, 2024 at 2 pm Cassburn Cemetery. Friends and family welcome.
