St-Jean, Marie-Paule (née Chagnon)

Mrs. Marie-Paule St-Jean née Chagnon of Vankleek Hill passed away peacefully, holding her husband’s hand, on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the age of 93. She was the loving wife of Lucien St-Jean; the daughter of the late Philibert Chagnon and the late Lucienne Desjardins; the beloved mother of Denis (late Linda Sauvé), Jeannette (late Pierre J Larocque), Richard, Guy, Brigitte and Nathalie; she was predeceased by her son Robert; the beloved grandmother of Julien, Andrée, Valérie, Guy, Mélanie, Patrick, Nicholas, Martin, Véronique, Shawn, Ashley and the great-grandmother of many great-grandchildren; dear sister of the late Roméo, the late Raymond, Christian, the late Ghislain, the late Alcide, the late Ghislaine, the late Aurèle, Edgar, the late Réjean, the late Estelle, the late Noël, the late Gilbert, Murielle. Also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of “The Palace Long Term Care” of Alexandria for the excellent care during his stay since 2018. Funeral services will be held at St-Grégoire-de-Nazianze Church in Vankleek Hill on Saturday May 4th at 11 a.m. The family will be present from 10 a.m. to receive your condolences.
