Shirley Hunter

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Shirley Hunter, who passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 94. She is reunited with her parents, the late Clifford Howes and the late Viola Howes, as well as her loving husband, the late Harold Hunter. She leaves in mourning her daughter, Karen (Raymond), her siblings, Glen (late Helen), Lloyd (late Irene) and the late Doreen (late John), and her nieces and nephews, Ian, Dawn, Kevin, Brent, Kerrie and Christopher. She was also predeceased by her sister-in-law, Bernice. The family would like to thank the staff at Hawkesbury and District General Hospital and Walford on the Hill Retirement Home for their care and kindness toward Shirley during her stay. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cassburn Cemetery (1790 Cassburn Road, L’Orignal, Ont.)
