The family of Barbara Rutherford would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to us during the loss of our mother. The celebration of life held at Knox Presbyterian Church was filled with wonderful music, prayers, and spoken words that warmed our hearts as we remembered her life. A thank you to Jade Garden for the care put into the flower arrangements. We would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation to Reverend James Douglas and the congregation of the church for their kindness and support. Mom always felt truly at home within the church and surrounded by its members. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Dandy, Mrs. Mode and the Ladies Aid of Knox Presbyterian Church for the scrumptious delights provided at the reception at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club following the celebration of life. A personal and heartfelt thanks is extended to Lisa and Mark of Hillcrest Funeral Home. Your kindness, compassion and support during these past few months has been greatly appreciated. Losing Barbara has been hard on all of us and she will be missed forever, but knowing that the community, family and friends are there for us has helped us through this challenging time.
