Peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 31, 2021 Doreen Russell (nee Macdonald) of L’Orignal passed away at the age of 84. Predeceased by her parents “Mac” Macdonald and Frances Bacon. Beloved wife of the late Jack Russell. Proud and loving mother of John (Kim) and Jim (Mary). Dearly loved Grandma of Kiah, Riley (Carina), Britton (Chloe) and Jamie. Dear sister of Sheila Burke (Jerry). Predeceased by her brother Harold (Roberta). Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and many friends. Doreen had unwavering faith in God and was a devout spiritualist. She was a lover of animals, nature and a passionate painter and poet.
A Private Family Service will be held at the Cassburn Cemetery, L’Orignal.
A Celebration of Doreen’s Life will be held at a future date.
