Paquette, Lucien

Peacefully at the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital, Friday, December 9, 2022, Lucien Paquette of Vankleek Hill, passed away at the age of 79. Predeceased by his parents, Armand Paquette and Rose Bériault. Beloved husband of Michelle (née Périard). Proud and loving father of Gabrielle (Patrick Pharand) and Jean-Luc (Marie-Claude Perreault). Dearly loved grandfather of Cédric, Daphnée and Jonathan. Dear brother of Lucienne (Bill Robinson) and Marcel (Marie Polly). He is survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews and nieces along with close friends Richard and Julie. Lucien was the proud owner of A. Paquette Garage, established in the Vankleek Hill community since 1957. He was also a founding member of the Vankleek Hill Gun Club. The family wish to thank the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital staff for the excellent care provided. A Private Service will be held with interment at the St-Grégoire Cemetery, Vankleek Hill. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Lucien’s life on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club, 136 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill. In lieu of flowers and in memory of Lucien, a donation to the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital Foundation or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
