MCKECHNIE, MARY MITCHELL (STEWART)
Mary Mitchell McKECHNIE, born on April 13, 1916 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully at age 101 on February 2, 2018 in Ottawa, Ontario. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd McKechnie. She is survived by her son, Stewart McKechnie; daughter, Marilynn Riseborough; grandchildren, Jennifer Dittrich, Joanna Kerr, Adrianna Spicer, Alison Popp, and Matthew McKechnie; great-grandchildren, Angela, Gerald, Charlotte, Sophie, Nicolas, Matthew, Ella and Lola. Mary will be remembered for her optimism, her generosity and her community involvement. As expressions of sympathy, those who wish may donate in Mary’s name to the charity of their choice. Special thanks to the staff at Orchardview Living Centre and Ottawa Grace Manor for their kindness and care. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
