It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Diane McGuire (née Bélanger) from Hawkesbury on April 15, 2020 at the age of 79 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Marc McGuire; the daughter of the late Lionel Bélanger and the late Evyline Bélanger (née Hill); the loving mother of Valerie McGuire Dass (Derek Dass) and Catherine McGuire (Yves Martineau); the adored grandmother of Mathieu, Savannah, Isabella and Xavier; She is the dear sister of Peter (Gisèle) and was predeceased by 2 brothers, Ronald (Pierrette) and Lionel (Pauline) and one sister, Louise Latreille. She is survived by many nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral details to be determined at a later date due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. For those who wish, donations may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Ottawa Hospital Foundation Cancer Research Program.
