McFall, Lorna (Née Shane)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful Mother, Lorna McFall, (nee Shane) on October 2, 2025, at the age of 88.  She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving children, sisters and brothers. Beloved wife of the late George McFall and cherished oldest daughter to the late Lionel and the late Isabel Shane. Lorna will be deeply missed by her children, Gloria Nobles of Ottawa, Laura Lee (Doug Cowan) of Vankleek Hill and Shane (Laura Lee Harrison) of Pendleton. Lorna was a loving grandmother to Christina (Yves), Tyler (Amanda), Jenna (Allen) and Brenna.  She was a proud great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren. Cherished sister to Joyce Brownrigg (late Roger Leduc), Gail Pankow (Jim), Dale Shane (Diane), Helen McWilliams (James), Bonnie Rivington (Norm), Kerry Shane (Koreen) and Colleen Hayes (Willard) and will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.  She will be deeply missed by her dear friend and companion, Alloyus McPhee. Lorna was a devoted member of Our Lady of Divine Love Church in Pendleton, where she volunteered and participated actively in the parish community.  Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her.
