MCDONALD, Marion – The family of the late Marion Higginson McDonald would like to thank family and friends for their prayers, cards, flowers, memorial donations, visits at the funeral home and for attendance at the church service. Special thanks to the Rev. Doug Richards for his support and for officiating at the funeral; to Caroll Carkner, organist; to the pallbearers Ross Prophet, J.D. Kirby, Jim Mullin, Donald Pollard, Craig and Andrew Barton. Thank you to St. John’s ACW ladies for the lunch served at the reception. To the staff of Maxville Manor, thank you for the special care given to Marion for three years. Thank you to Mark and Lisa Henderson and Hillcrest Funeral Home staff for their support, kindness and guidance at a difficult time after the loss of a dear mother, granny and great-grandmother.
