Mr. Stephen McCullough from Hawkesbury, passed away tragically in Thailand on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the age of 45. He was the beloved husband of Svetlana Shliaeva; the son of Thomas Shannon McCullough and of Gillian McCullough born Fleming; the loving father of Brooke; the dear brother of Paul (Susie), Cheryl (Chris Da Costa) and Shannon; the loved uncle of Rebecca, Ryan, Desmond, Kayden, Christopher and Connor. He is survived by many family and friends in Northern Ireland. Stephen had a deep love for traveling the world, embracing new cultures and experiences with an open heart. Wherever he went, he shared his boundless zest for life, leaving behind smiles, laughter, and lasting memories. He found special joy in the years he spent living in Russia and Thailand with his beloved wife, Svetlana, where together they built a life enriched by adventure, companionship, and love. Stephen left us as the result of a tragic accident in Thailand. Though he is gone, his sense of humor, his free spirit, and his exhilaration for life will live on in the hearts of all who encountered him.
