It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lewis McAllister of Alfred, Ontario on Friday, December 6th, 2024, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Nicole (Chamberland). Dear son of the late Percy McAllister and the late Gertrude (McKinley). Loving father of the late Ian, Steven (Tracy Rankin), Nancy and Paul (Greg Perry). Cherished grandfather of Samantha Hughes-Laflamme (Bobby Bracelin), Mark (Kimberley Turnbull), Courtney, Daniel and Callum and great grandfather of Logan, Alyson, Ian and Crystle. Dear brother of Viola (late Ron Halstead), Mary and Leonard (Vicky Blackstock). He will be fondly remembered by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his siblings Leona (late Marc Hamelin), Theresa (Gregory Ryan), James (Donna Starling), Helen (Wilfred O’Donnell) and his infant brother, Dean. Sincere thanks to Dr. Lydia Richardson of the Plantagenet Family Health Team and the teams of the Hawkesbury General Hospital and the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 11:00am at Très-Sainte-Trinité Church, Rockland, Ontario.
