Booth Martin, Margaret Ann

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Booth Martin on April 17, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in England, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Ted Woodhouse and of the late Olive Woolhouse (née Poole). She will be deeply missed by her devoted husband, Denis Martin, who was by her side. Margaret was a loving and proud mother to Johanna (Brian), Steven (Susie), and Michael (Nadine), and a caring stepmother to Denis’s children, Louis and Luc. She was a cherished grandmother to Mathew (Julia), Sarah (Brett), Daniel, Edward, Olivia, Mallory, and Seeley. She is survived by her sisters, Helen and Pam, as well as her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Carmen (Réjean), Gille (June), Nicole (Dean), Pierre (Carole) and Michel (Diane). She was predeceased by her brother-in-law, André. Margaret dedicated many years of her life to her career as a nurse, where her compassion and kindness touched countless lives. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and unwavering care for others. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at The Palace Long Term Care in Alexandria for their support and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the food bank of your choice.
