It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John Maguire of Vankleek Hill, on Thursday, February 13th, 2025, at the age of 86. John was the devoted husband of the late Natilee Maguire (née Kirkwood), and the cherished father of Sandi (Ross Gibson) and the late Natalie. He was predeceased by five of his siblings. John is also survived by a loving extended family, including many nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends, who will all miss him dearly. In keeping with his wishes, a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (C.H.E.O.), a cause John held dear. A Tree of Remembrance in John’s honour will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest, in Vankleek Hill.
