On July 28, 2024, at the age of 91, Sarah Margaret Macpherson (née MacNeil) passed away peacefully at Prescott Russell Residence, Hawkesbury. Beloved wife
of the late Lynus Mode MacPherson. Dear mother to Heather MacPherson (Garry), Neil, Shirley Altman (Rick) and Millan (Fiona). Loving grandmother to Ashlie
(Chris), Ben, Elisa (David), Kelsey (Matthew), Tavish, Shannan (Thomas) and great-grandmother to Elliot and Samuel. She also leaves behind her cherished
cousin Ewen MacNeil. Predeceased by her parents Catherine MacRae and Morrison MacNeil. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Relatives and friends may call Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (613-525-2772), on Monday, August 5, 2024 from 6 to 9 pm. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at Kirkhill United Church on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 11 am followed by the urn burial in the Parish Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Résidence Prescott-Russell for the wonderful care provided for Sarah Margaret. As expression of sympathies, memorial donations to Kirkhill United Church will be greatly appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Margaret a tree will be planted in memory woods.
