Borris, Lucien

With deep sadness we announce the passing of Lucien on Sunday, February 26, 2023. He leaves to mourn his wife, Huguette Paiement; his children, Marie (Jim), Denise (Denis), Monique (Jim), Joanne (Wes) Maurice (Trudy), Helene (Kevin), Sr Anna Leah, Louise (Dan), Diane (Ray), Lynn, Dan (Nicole); 26 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; siblings, Jean, Raymond and Marguerite of Ontario; and long time friend, Jean Marc Boucher. He was born in Caledonia Springs, now Alfred Ontario, son of Abraham Borris and Florestine Dubois. He was predeceased by his first wife, Ghislaine Paiement; daughter, Diane; grandchildren, Melissa and Sheldon; siblings Bernadette, Berthe, Laurent, Armand and Yvette. Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 1 pm at St Albert Parish, 7 St.Vital Avenue, St. Albert, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cross Cancer. Arrangements entrusted to Sturgeon Memorial Funeral Chapel and Crematorium, Bon Accord, Alberta.
