Peacefully, after a long battle with health issues, Lexie passed away in Ottawa on December 3, 2021. She grew up in the Grenville area and is predeceased by her parents Lilyan Brigden Lessard and Georges-Henri Lessard as well as her brother Pierre. She is survived by her sister, Heather, and brothers, Stephen, Marc and Georges, as well as numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. After studying Library Sciences in Lennoxville, Lexie decided to follow her passion and become a nurse. She exercised that profession in Ottawa as well as Hawkesbury. Known for her love of family, her unique sense of humour and her quick wit — and, of course, her love of dogs, especially Chow Chows — she will be sadly missed by family and friends. Funeral arrangements will be communicated at a later date.
