It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Rita Lacombe (née Ranger) of Hawkesbury, originally from Vankleek Hill. She passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the age of 78 and after 11 months of battling cancer. Predeceased by her parents Eugène Ranger and Albertine Ranger, husband Eugène (Pitou) Lacombe, brother Sylvio (Jane), her in-laws Joseph Lacombe and Laura Cadieux, three sisters-in-law Simone (late Gérard Langevin), Lucille (late Raymond Conway) and Laurette (Romèo Sauvé). Rita leaves to mourn her loving children Michel (Pickle) (Lyne Renaud), Luc (Janie Loiselle) and Diane, her adored grandchildren Mélissa (François), Jean-François (Kassandra), Maxime (Jessica) and Joey McCulloch (Sonia) and her great-grandchildren Katherine, Philip, Laura and Ariel. She is survived by her brother Normand (Luella), her brother-in-law Gérald (Marie-Paule), her sisters-in-law Yvonne (late Bernard Séguin), Marguerite-Rose (Louis Couvillon) also many nephews, nieces and friends.The funeral will be held at the St. Grégoire de Naziance church in Vankleek Hill at a later date.
