Howes, Irene

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Irene Howes, who passed away peacefully on June 26, 2026, at the age of 85. She is reunited with her parents, the late Patrick Smith and the late Margaret Robb, as well as her sister, the late Margaret (late Ack). She will be dearly missed by her husband, Lloyd, her son, Christopher (Cindy), her grandchildren, Riley, Dakota and Rebecca, her great-grandchildren, Emerson and Lucas, as well as her nephew and niece, Scott and Patricia. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital and the Ottawa Hospital General Campus for their care and support of Irene during her stay. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Cassburn Cemetery (1790 Cassburn Road, L’Orignal, Ont.)
