Hodgson, Jean (née Cox)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Hodgson (née Cox) on Friday, July 4th, 2025 at the age of 91. Beloved wife of Peter. Loving mother of Sandra (Rob) and Anne and proud grandmother of Michael and Sophie. Jean lived a long and happy life. She was born in Arnold, England and married Peter in Montréal. They spent 60 happy years in Hawkesbury, Ontario. She will be missed by her many friends and neighbours, her friends in the ancient brits group and all those involved in her many painting activities. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre palliative care unit for their exceptional care. Final arrangements have been entrusted with Highland Park Funeral Centre in Peterborough, Ontario and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
