It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Lawrence Herscovici on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the age of 85 in Maxville, Ontario. He was the cherished son of the late Robert and Florence Herscovici. Beloved husband of Beverley. A loving father to his daughter, the late Alyna and his son Robert. Stepfather of Elaine (Joseph) and Dawn (Ulrich). Adoring Zaidie of Cody, Shira, Jordan, Jeremy, Joshua, Emily, Ryan and Jacob and great-grandfather to Skylar. Dear brother of the late George and the late Seymour. Lawrence will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. A man of many skills and an accomplished entrepreneur, Lawrence had a great passion for boating and traveled the world with fearless curiosity. His ingenuity was evident in his diverse creations, which included everything from boats and slides to even bathtubs. An excellent golfer, he generously shared his skills with the youth by teaching them the game. He was also well known as a smoked meat manufacturer in Montreal, a testament to his culinary talent and entrepreneurial spirit. Family and Friends are invited to a Graveside Service will be held on Friday August 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m in Whistler Cemetery, Whistler BC. A Tree of Remembrance will be planted in memory of Lawrence.
