Suddenly at The Residence of Lachute, Lachute, Qc. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in his eighty-sixth year. Beloved husband of Marilyn Doig. Dear father of Dwayne (Christina). Loving grandfather of Thomas. Also survived by his sister Kath. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2 PM in the chapel of the J.P. MacKimmie Funeral Home, 660 Principale St., Lachute, Qc. Visitation was held on Monday, May 15th from 7 – 9 PM and Tuesday May 16th from 12 PM until time of service. The family would especially like to thank the staff of The Residence for the wonderful care and love that was given to Gordon. In lieu of flowers, donations to Diabetes Canada, 1400 – 522 University Ave., Toronto, On. M5G 2R5 would be appreciated by the family.
