HARDISTY, ALAN
On Saturday, October 14, 2017 Alan Hardisty passed away at the age of 89. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia of fifty years. Dear stepfather of Thomas (Jayne) and John (Mary). Loving grandfather of Jessica (Karl), Mitchell, Mackenzie, Emily and Liam and his new and much loved great-granddaughter, Charlotte, daughter of Jessica and Karl. He is also survived by his beloved nephew, David Jones and his dear wife, Joan. In England he is survived by his brother, Norman and special cousin, Mary (Lionel), and two more nephews, Mervyn, Timothy and one special niece, Katy and their families. At Alan’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. A reception will be arranged for family and friends where it is to be hoped there will be more laughter than tears.

Where destiny with men for pieces play,
Hither and thither, moves and mates and slays,
And one by one back in the closet lays.”
