Hall, Thomas Ian

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Mr. Thomas Ian Hall on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at the age of 88. Son of the late Thomas Malcolm Hall and of the late Elizabeth Alice White. He was the beloved husband of Kathy Hall (Paulmert), the loving father of Heather (Mauro Natalini), late Colleen and Tom (Marie-Lyne Berthiaume), the cherished grandfather of Elizabeth Mullin (Cory Kuiper), Nathan Shaw (Holly Moreno), Sean Thomas Ogston, Tommy and Daphne Hall, the great grandfather of Darion Mullin and Adelaide Shaw and the dear brother of Ralph (Bobby Rasmussen) and Sue (Gordon Rowe). He also leaves behind many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. The family would like to sincerely thank the devoted staff at the Prescott-Russell Residence for all the wonderful care given. Tom’s heart belonged to the water, having had sailboats and canoes his entire life. His last sailboat was his beloved ‘’TomKat’’. When not sailing, Tom was an avid reader, skier, outdoorsman and woodworker. He was a longtime member of St-John’s No.21a Masonic Lodge in Vankleek Hill, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Canada and/or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation Ontario.
