Hafke, Heinz Georg

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heinz Georg Hafke on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Cornwall Community Hospital. Georg passed peacefully, surrounded by family at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Valerie Hafke (Moore), loving father of Ingrid, Marty, Nicholas (deceased in 2019) and Christopher. Proud grandfather to Markus and Matthew Bill, and Ollie and Katie Hafke, he will be missed by his sister Ingrid Schwarting (Hafke) and his extended family: son-in-law Thomas Bill, daughters-in-law Angie Abdou and Monica Nguyen; and brother-in-law Harm Schwarting. A Chapel service will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m. in the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes at 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898), followed by burial in the Maxville cemetery.
