Duval, Marcel

It is with great sadness to announce Marcel Duval of Vankleek Hill passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 at the age of 69. He was the son of the late Ronald Duval and the late Noëlla Dewar. Loving father to Pascal and Josée (Ryan), cherished grandfather to Julien, Brianna, Nathan, Emma and Amber, dear brother to Noël (late Claudette) and the late Claire (Gilles). He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital for the excellent care and support they gave to Marcel. Friends and family are invited to visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, Ontario, on Friday August 8, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will follow at the St-Grégoire Cemetery in Vankleek Hill. For those who wish, donations to the Hawkesbury General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A Tree of Remembrance will be planted in the McAlpine Forever Forest of Vankleek Hill in Marcel’s name.
