Peacefully at the Prescott Russell Residence, Hawkesbury on Thursday, July 20, 2023, Marcel Duval of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 81. Predeceased by his parents Claude Duval and Adeline Brown. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (née Lepage). Proud and caring father of Yollande Dupelle (André), Sylvain, Jocelyn (Josée Cayer). Predeceased by his son Jean Pierre. Adored “Popère” of Roxanne, Gaetanne, Andréanne, Emilie, Genevieve, Guyllaume, Madelyne, Kaitlyn and great-grandchildren, Jesse, Jayden, Tyson, Madison, Camille, Axel, Jaxen, and Lexie. Dear brother of Claudette Denis (late Robert), Jackie Curran (Howard) and Laurier Duval. Predeceased by his brother Gilbert Duval. Fondly remembered by his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Prescott Russell Residence, especially the nurses on the 3rd floor for all their wonderful care and compassion. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be held at Saint-Grégoire-de-Nazianze Catholic Church, 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill on Friday. July 28, 2023 at 11 am.
